About the CEO

Iesha was born and raised in Waycross, Ga., and graduated from Ware County High School in 2009. In 2011 she pursued an associate's degree in accounting, a bachelor's in management in 2016, and a master's in business administration in 2021. She has worked in the school system for over 15 years. Her current role is Finance Manager.

She was married in 2017 to her husband Don, and they have a sweet little fur baby. Iesha's hobbies are traveling and watching Christmas movies and weddings all year round. She also enjoys spending time with her family; they bring her joy and comfort.

Iesha always had a passion for working with people, whether helping those who may not understand certain types of paperwork or need someone to help them feel comfortable with certain decisions about their business. She has never been one to be in large crowds, so her specialty is working one-on-one with people.

Why did you choose life insurance?

I chose life insurance because many people in our community don't have it. Nothing hurts my heart more than watching a family in grief struggle to find the money to send off a loved one properly. I believe there are a lot of people who don't know who to turn to for answers about insurance. I would prefer my insurance agent to want to know my family and I versus seeing us as a number.

What is the goal of the IJC Agency?

Our goal is to make our clients feel like family. This is about educating our people and helping them understand the benefits of having life insurance.

What do you want people to think about when it comes to insurance?

I've always asked this question: if we will insure our car, house, cell phone, and health, why not insure your life? Those things are IF we get in a wreck, IF there's damage to my property or IF I get sick, but what about WHEN you die? We all will leave this side of the world one day, so why not be prepared? Why not spare the financial burden for your family? One of the best gifts we can leave our family is by having life insurance. Cover your life!
